The central case housing the module is encased in an exterior that features an integrated bezel and band construction. Large, dimensional indexes extend over the glass, serving as shock-absorbing bumpers. This distinctive design maintains G-SHOCK’s hallmark shock resistance while delivering a striking new visual identity.
Shock-resistant module with Shock Release Hand
Casio introduces a newly developed magnetic holding structure in which the hands, typically vulnerable to impact, are not directly fixed to the shaft. Instead, they are attached via magnetic force. This innovative design allows the Shock Release Hand (minute hand) to absorb and deflect impacts. The result is the ability to use larger hands and explore more dynamic design possibilities.

The analog-digital display features a multi-layered construction that combines a metallic openwork dial (a technique that incorporates see-through detailing) with a full-screen LCD.
